Hi! I'm Chris Rolczynski, a single gay dog dad from the Seattle area, and founder of Dudes With Dogs® (DWD), the 🌎 global 🏳️‍🌈 lgbt-inclusive community of 🐶 dog ❤️ lovers.

DWD is so much more than just cute pics of guys with their dogs. We're authentic. We're inclusive. And the camaraderie we're creating is improving individual lives and hopefully even our culture. That, and it's super fun!

But DWD isn't just a good idea. It's the result of 5+ years of hard work and one guy's (me!) non-stop dedication to an idea, that Dogs Help People Connect.™ See, lgbt+ people are more than just the tired boxes society and we put ourselves in. We're complex, fully-formed individuals searching for meaning and connection.

Yet, it took me getting a dog myself to realize what amazing catalysts they are to the connection so many of us seek! When we stop thinking about ourselves, and put our focus on these wonderful beings we love so much, something magical happens. Our guards come down. Our hearts open up. And we connect.

I'm so proud that we've grown our community from just a handful of my friends with dogs to over 75,000 on Facebook and 36,000 on Instagram! And right now, we're growing faster than ever.

But the one thing that's not growing? My income. (Go ahead, groan. But then, please keep reading. :)

See, most communities monetize by blasting you with ads or trying to sell you stuff all the time, but that's never been my jam. And though we do sell a t-shirt now and then (thank you!), it's still not the stable and ongoing support I need to continue my work supporting YOU.

Trust me, it's not easy swallowing my pride and asking for financial help, which is why you've rarely seen me do it. But, my pride is doing me no favors. The truth is that I've been married to a more-than-full-time non-paying job for years now, supporting you guys. I love it, of course. It's my life's purpose. But I still need a roof over my head.

So, this is me asking for your help.
