Hello, I'm Geoff Boswell and I present the 100 and 20 Minutes show on the top-notch internet radio station NCB Radio (ncbradio.co.uk). I'm asking for donations simply to help finance both my own show, but also the ongoing work of NCB Radio. We are a not for profit organisation and so the staff - all volunteers - help financially support the station. Not only am I a volunteer but being unemployed I don't have an income beyond benefits. Moreover, I - like all the other presenters - have to maintain, update, replace, or repair our equipment which includes (but is not limited to) computers, microphones, hard drives, lighting, cabling, ancillary equipment, software, electricity costs, batteries, chairs, desks, and stationery. Furthermore, we have to procure our own music, so the purchase of either CDs (to digitize) or digital music files have to be made, as does the purchase of marketing material, station idents, jingles, and much more.

I will play what I think is the best in vintage, classic, and contemporary rock and pop. Those who know me can guess that regular contributors to the show will be Judie Tzuke, Ian Hunter, Marillion, and others. Folk, Prog, and Glam Rock, it's all fair game for me. I won't necessarily take requests (as refusal causes upset) but I'll gladly do dedications. I don't intend to talk too much as I'm mindful of 'a little less chat, a little more action'.

In many ways, we feel we are a community resource both locally in North Cornwall, but also internationally through the internet.
